Review your yearly funding resources:

AAPD $250 Pre-Doc Chapter Allotment

Use the AAPD allotment/reimbursement as your starting funds. It would behoove newer chapters to use these funds towards activities which may help secure other sources of funding. See Activites and Best Practices for more details.

University Club Funding

Review any University Club resource guides. Many Universities offer funding for a club; establishing a University Club for the Chapter may be well worth the energy.

Repeat/New Donors

As your chapter creates and decides on activities always leave the door open with the partners from those activities; as they are possible future donors.

Review the Chapter Constitution making note of any differences in how the chapter operated previously or what changes may be required for how the new leadership would like to operate.

With the Chapter Funds and Governance reviewed plan the activities. The best place to start for ideas is the Activities section of the Handbook.

Spotlights of pre-doc chapters are regularly showcased in the member PDT magazine and e-news blasts! Check in on your fellow chapters for ideas and be recognized for your efforts.

Please do check in with AAPD Chapter Relations as often as you like. Don't forget to fill out the Annual Report on your chapter.
