On February 3, 2026, AAPD hosted our first-ever Virtual Open House for prospective pediatric dentistry residents, presented by the Council on Pre-Doctoral Education. This event was created to provide information for those exploring a career in our specialty. We were delighted by the enthusiastic participation from attendees eager to learn more about the pathway to residency.

The session offered:

• An overview of building a strong application and preparing for interviews.
• Practical advice on key components like CVs, personal statements, letters of recommendation, and interview etiquette.
