AAPD Annual Session will take place May 20-30, 2021. AAPD adapted everything attendees loved about NashVirtual into The Hub, but there will be several enhancements. Interactions and networking will be much easier along with opportunities to connect directly with your peers or an exhibitor. In addition, approximately 50+ hours of CE will be available given this format. In an in-person year, you can only achieve up to 25 CE credits making The Hub a great value!

Of course! Many of us who sit on committees were recruited by a friend, a colleague, or a mentor and we find our work with the AAPD to be meaningful, interesting, and a relatively minimal time commitment. Sitting on a committee makes the Annual Meeting feel even more significant--besides meeting up with friends and colleagues you already know, you serve with like-minded colleagues from all over the country and learn regional perspectives as well as bring exciting new ideas to life. The roster for all committees can be found here.
Find someone you know and ask questions! If you already know you want to sign up, or don't know who to talk to, fill out the application to volunteer.
Also remember that there are many opportunities to get involved at the local or district levels. Contact your local AAPD president or your district president or trustee for more information. Links to their contact information can be found here.
