Dr. Roger Sanger, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Sanger received a BS and DDS (1970) from the University of Southern California. He completed a USC hospital based Pediatric Dental Residency (1972) and a fellowship in Craniofacial Anomalies (1973) and was certified in Pediatric Dentistry from USC. He was on faculty at USC Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and also as a NIH Fellow obtained a MS in Health Care from the USC (1975). Dr. Sanger then went to the University of Colorado Medical Center where he attained the rank of Full Tenured Professor in Pediatric Dentistry as well as Chair of the Departments of Pediatric Dentistry/Orthodontics and Assistant Dean. He was a WHO Fellow (1981) for sabbatical research in the Far East.  Dr. Sanger has coauthored two clinical textbooks in Pediatric Dentistry and hundreds of scientific articles and textbook chapters. In 1982 after leaving academics, Dr. Sanger cofounded a private practice that would become over the next three decades one of the largest multi-doctor, multi-office private pediatric dental groups in California with over 150 employees, two surgicenters, a hospital based practice, an orthodontic alliance practice and non-profit school based mobile dental clinics. He also founded The Sanger Group, a consulting company offering workbooks, seminars, and consulting on practice management and transition. Dr. Sanger lectures for DOCS Education on pediatric sedation and NuSmile Education on pediatric game changing technology. He is the Executive Director of MCNA Dental of Idaho and on the BOD of St Luke’s Wood River Medical Center.  He is a life member of ADA and AAPD and their component societies.
