Primary Children's Medical Center (UT) Pediatric Dental Postgraduate Program Program Length and Number of Positions This is a 24-month program beginning July 1 of each year. One new position is available each year. Program Type Hospital-based certificate program. Application The application deadline is September 15 of the year preceding matriculation. Correspondence regarding application and admission procedures should be addressed to Pediatric Dental Residency Program Director, Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 North Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84113. Description The program in pediatric dental care is based at Primary Children's Medical Center. Emphasis is placed on clinical proficiency as well as the interdisciplinary approach to treating the pediatric dental patient. Upon successful completion of the program, the student receives a certificate and will have met the eligibility requirements for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry examination. There is a craniofacial and orofacial department associated with the residency and the pediatric dental residents are active in this program. There is academic course work both within the hospital as well as outside the hospital. Program Stipend and Tuition First-year stipend is $36,000. Second year stipend is $39,000.
