AAPD President Dr. Rhea M. Haugseth was interviewed by Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine about sharing tips and advice to parents and caregivers about their baby’s teeth. Some parents don’t know what to do when their baby’s first teeth come out. Haugseth suggested to parents the top three things they should know and do. Here’s one of the tips she shared:
“Schedule a dental visit as soon as baby’s first tooth appears, or by his first birthday. The AAPD encourages parents and caregivers to “Get it Done in Year One.”
