Silver Diamine Fluoride Recommended to Treat Cavities in Pediatric and Special Needs Patients
 
On September 13, 2017, the AAPD and ADA wrote the Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee in support of reauthorization of the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
 
The AAPD is pleased that the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has awarded 10 dental schools or pediatric dental residency programs grants for faculty loan repayment.

CHICAGO – May 28, 2017 — The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the leading authority on children’s oral health, announced this year’s winners of several prestigious awards during AAPD’s record-breaking 2017 meeting in National Harbor, Md.
 
Details have just been released about a final FY 2017 omnibus budget bill to fund federal programs through the remainder of the fiscal year. Since Oct. 1, 2016, the federal government has been funded via several Continuing Resolutions at the FY 2016 level.
 
We are pleased to announce the AAPD 2017 awards recipients for those going above and beyond in our profession and in our community.
