Active ($590)
- Complete the formal application and send it with an application fee of $100 (U.S. currency; not refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office.
- Submit a copy of a certificate or degree in the specialty of pediatric dentistry from a program approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- List two (2) AAPD members as references on the application form.
- Student members of the AAPD whose applications for Active membership are received on or before Dec. 31 in the same year as completion of their pediatric dental program do not pay an application fee. Also, first-year membership dues are waived, and second- and third-year dues are reduced 50 percent.
- Applicant is responsible for the current annual dues prorated by the number of months remaining in the billing year from the date of acceptance of membership.
International ($330)
- Complete the formal application and send it with an application fee of $50 (U.S. currency; not refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office.
- Submit a copy of a certificate or degree in the specialty of pediatric dentistry from a program approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- List two (2) professional colleagues as references on the application form.
- Applicant is responsible for the current annual dues prorated by the number of months remaining in the billing year from the date of acceptance of membership.
Associate ($295)
- Complete the formal application and send it with an application fee of $50 (U.S. currency; not refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office.
- List two (2) professional colleagues as references on the application form.
- Applicant is responsible for the current annual dues prorated by the number of months remaining in the billing year from the date of acceptance of membership.
Affiliate ($295)
- Complete the formal application and send it with an application fee of $50 (U.S. currency; not refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office.
- List two (2) professional colleagues as references on the application form.
Allied ($145.50)
- Complete the formal application and send it with the application fee of $50 (U.S. currency non refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office.
- List two professional colleagues as references on the application form.
Friends ($295)
- Complete the formal application and send it with the application fee of $50 (U.S. currency non refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office
- List two professional colleagues as references on the application form.
Predoctoral Student ($27)
- Complete the formal predoctoral application and send it with annual dues of $27 (U.S. currency; not refundable) to the AAPD headquarters office.
Postdoctoral Student (No Charge)
- Complete the formal postdoctoral student application and send it to the AAPD headquarters office.
Transfer of Membership
- Complete the formal application, indicating the new category of membership, and send it to the AAPD headquarters office.
- An application fee is not required for current members changing classification of membership; the current annual dues are required upon approval.
Reinstatement of Membership
- Complete the formal application and send it with required $50 reinstatement fee. Upon approval, applicant is responsible for full amount of current annual dues payment.
