Randy L. Kluender, D.D.S., M.S., received his DDS degree and MS in pediatric dentistry from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. Presently, he is the Associate Dean for Admissions, Student Affairs and Advanced Dental Education at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Prior to joining the faculty full time, he was in a private pediatric dental practice for 17 years.

Dr. Kluender’s interest is in access to care for underserved children and has been honored by both the Colorado Dental Association and Metropolitan Denver Dental Society for his outstanding contribution in community service. He was the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Harry Bruce Legislative Fellow in 2002 with an access to care focus.

Kluender is a past president of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentists, Fellow of the ADEA Leadership Institute, American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is also a member of the AAPD Pediatric Dental Medicaid and SCHIP Advisory Committee.
