Susan Bordenave-Bishop, D.M.D., a graduate of the Washington University School of Dental Medicine, Bordenave-Bishop also earned a B.S. in Nursing from Loyola University and a B.S. in Medical Technology. She furthered her general dentistry continuing education with completion of Fellowship and Mastership Awards from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Currently, Bordenave-Bishop practices general dentistry in private practice in addition to being Dental Director of the Peoria City/County Health Department. She is a past President of the Peoria District Dental Society and the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry. She is also past Chair of the Access to Care Committee of the Illinois State Dental Society. Currently, Bordenave-Bishop is President of the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. She has served as a Delegate/Alternate Delegate to the ADA, Illinois State Dental Society and AGD House of Delegates and the Self-Instruction, Long Range Planning and Communication Councils of the AGD. She is also a Fellow of the AGD, the American and International Colleges of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International.
