Christopher Delecki, D.D.S., M.P.H., M.B.A., is director of the dental program at Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic in Seattle and a member of the medical staff at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center. Delecki is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry in the departments of Pediatric Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Delecki earned his D.D.S. and M.P.H. at the University of Michigan and completed a Dental Public Health Residency with the Indian Health Service. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS), receiving many honors and awards including the Surgeon General’s Outstanding Service Medal. During his USPHS career, he provided dental treatment, program management, consultation and preventive dental services on numerous Indian reservations throughout the United States. For most of his career, Delecki has worked closely with Head Start children and families in several states. He has presented numerous oral health education training sessions to staff, children and parents as well as providing dental care to Head Start children. Delecki is currently a member of two health advisory boards serving over 600 families in Seattle. In addition to his active clinic schedule, Delecki is a member of the Washington State Oral Health Coalition and the Washington State Dental Association, were he is working to improve access to dental care for disadvantaged populations in Washington. Delecki has been a member of the American Dental Association for over 30 years and is currently President of the Seattle King County Dental Society.
