• Summary

  Course Description
  This course will help you prepare for the first step toward becoming a Diplomate - taking and passing the ABPD Qualifying Examination. It will be presented by leading educators and clinicians who will utilize a lecture format to review subjects and materials included in the board examination.
  
  Learn about the various domains contained in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry examination and how to be prepared for this type of high-stakes written examination. Participation in this course does not guarantee successful completion of board exams.
  
  Course Objectives
  At the conclusion of the course, participants will have gained a better understanding of how to prepare for the ABPD Qualifying Exam including:

  • The scientific and biological principles supporting the practice of pediatric dentistry
  • Topical areas of the exam
  • Recommended reference materials
  • Suggested readings for exam preparation

  Deadline for early registration is Jan. 8, 2019. Space is limited, with registrations being accepted on a space-available basis. Please note that space may fill up prior to the early cut-off date. After Jan. 8, 2019, please contact the Meetings Department at the AAPD headquarters office at (312) 337-2169 to verify availability of onsite and faxed registration.

  Cancellation
  Full refunds for registration minus a $150 cancellation fee will be given only if written notice of cancellation is received 30 days prior to the course. For one-day courses, the cancellation fee will be $75 with the same rules applying. A 50 percent refund will be given if written notice is received up to two weeks prior to the course. No refunds will be given within one week prior to the course. No refunds will be given for no-shows.
