7 CE Credits (6 Clinical, 1 Human Trafficking)
This lecture will consist of a morning section and afternoon section. The morning section will begin with a discussion of domestic violence including how to recognize signs in children, spouses, the elderly, and disabled. The morning session will also discuss malpractice and fraud using a case that presented to Dr. Kenney’s own practice and how he addressed it. The afternoon section will begin with a discussion on Human Trafficking including how prevalent it is and how to recognize signs in a dental setting and what to do if you suspect it is occurring. The afternoon will also have Dr. Kenney talking with us about his work as a forensic odontologist and the role of dentistry in helping to identify victims of murders, missing people, and mass casualties. There will also be information on further training or certification in all topics discussed.
