Arming health educators and consumers with information as well as practical and useful tips on preventing infectious diseases, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's An Ounce of Prevention campaign's goal is to provide resources about handwashing, cleaning and disinfection, and other easy-to-follow steps in an effort to develop and maintain successful hand hygiene and cleaning practices.

MedSun (Medical Product Safety Network)

MedSun (Medical Product Safety Network) is designed to improve understanding of medical device use so that the FDA, healthcare facilities, clinicians, and manufacturers can better address safety concerns. Over 350 health care facilities, primarily hospitals, participate in the MedSun network. Trained MedSun Representatives from these sites come from Risk Management, Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Biomedical/Clinical Engineering, Physicians and Nurses, Materials Management, and Surgical Services.

The Virtual Hospital is a digital health sciences library created to help meet the information needs of health care providers and patients. The goal of the Virtual Hospital digital library is to make the Internet a useful medical reference and health promotion tool for health care providers and patients. The digital library contains hundreds of books and brochures for health care providers and patients.
