CDT Case Management Codes Effective January 1, 2017 – Be ready! Free webinar for AAPD members co-sponsored by AAPD

August 31, 2016
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Case management is a technique that engages states, MCOs, dentists, and patients to ensure that necessary dental services are delivered. Case management is a proven and effective method of achieving early interventions, such as addressing childhood caries. As of January 1, 2017 four new CDT Codes will enable documenting case management services.

This Webinar will familiarize participants with case management concepts and the history behind these four codes. Dental office scenarios will illustrate how these procedures are delivered and documented, and how the information is used by MCOs and state Medicaid agencies to assess program success.

This Webinar is a collaborative effort of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Medicaid-CHIP State Dental Association (MSDA), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the American Dental Association (ADA). We look forward to your participation.
