330 - Third Party Payer / Dental Insurance Workshop - Warren A. Brill, D.M.D. and Mary Essling
The AAPD recently hired a full-time staff person dedicated to addressing specific dental benefit concerns that impact the delivery of pediatric oral health care in your office. These concerns may relate to problems with filing a dental claim, delayed payment from carriers, appropriate coding, bundling of codes by carriers and various other third party reimbursement issues. To further assist our members, the AAPD Council on Dental Benefit Programs (CDBP) is pleased to offer an informative workshop highlighting these issues plus Dr. Warren Brill will present a how-to guide on submitting an ADA code change request. Last but not least, common insurance and coding questions received by the AAPD Dental Benefits Manager will be discussed. Please bring your insurance and coding questions to this workshop, and receive guidance from a CDBP expert panel.
