Evidence-Based Dentistry Booth

Ever wish there were a Dear Abby for dentistry? An oracle you could ask vexing oral health questions?

There is: you. Evidence-based dentistry (a.k.a. EBD) practice provides the answer you seek and tells you—like the Magic Eight Ball—that, at this time, the answer is hazy. Evidence-based dentistry is, in a nutshell: finding the evidence, critically appraising it and synthesizing it. You treat your patient using the best evidence coupled with clinical judgment and experience. How to get started answering your questions? Visit the evidence-based dentistry booth to learn more.

Brief tutorials are available in the booth:

Friday, May 23
2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m.

Sunday, May 25
9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m.

Meet & Greet Lounge

Booths 601 – 613

New dentists and Residents are encouraged to join seasoned professional dentists in the Meet and Greet Mentor Lounge during the 2014 Annual Session! Mentors and mentees will meet in a lounge area on the exhibit floor to Explore the Exhibits together. In addition to visiting booths and discussing how to get the most out of the Annual Session experience, they have the chance to ask questions about their mentor’s practice and career.

We want to help you continue the conversation among the seasoned members and those newer to practicing; use the show floor as an opportunity to discuss pediatric dental topics while they meet with various dental companies providing goods and services. Enjoy a cool drink, meet new acquaintances in the lounge while waiting to meet your mentor or mentee.
