Weather & Social Event Packing Hints
Weather
What to expect - really, you have to ask? Okay, we'll humor you. Temperatures in May average 85°F (29°C) for a high and lows of 70°F (21°C).
Packing Hints
The Scientific Program is business casual. A sweater or light jacket may help in the cool convention center meeting rooms or for evenings. The Welcome Reception is casual and the Presidents' Farewell Dinner is "Hawaiian elegant," translated open collar Hawaiian shirt with a jacket for the men. Ladies can determine how dressy they want to be, but no one will be turned away for wearing flip flops.
